Start from a Strong Base

Running a class is only part of becoming an instructor. We want people who grasp the material, who can coach skills well, and who build a learning experience worthy of the profession.

How the Path Works

  1. Meet today's AHA instructor-candidate prerequisites.
  2. Complete the AHA instructor coursework that is required.
  3. Attend the course where instructors are trained.
  4. Complete required monitoring and the Training Center requirements.
