Over 20 Years Spent Teaching People Well.
CPR Works of Wilmington has taught for over 10 years. Growth has come, yet the values behind the company remain remarkably simple.
The Beginning
One belief started CPR Works: healthcare education ought to feel practical and personal, and simpler to move through. A small start grew through relationships and word of mouth, plus a commitment to do the work well.
CPR Works stands as an American Heart Association Authorized Training Center. It serves individuals and businesses, healthcare organizations and schools, plus instructors and Training Sites.
The company was not built to be the biggest or the loudest. It rests on showing up and on knowing the material, on treating people well, and on doing what we say we're going to do.
Education Is the Heart of This Work
From the beginning, hands-on training has been at the center of CPR Works. People learn best, we believe, when teaching is practical and approachable, and linked with the real world. Customized healthcare education, instructor training, and CPR certification all follow that idea.
But how we do the work matters just as much as the work itself.
People of every background are who we train and who we work with. Everyone is welcome here.
What Being an AHA Authorized Training Center Means
An ATC is an Authorized Training Center of the American Heart Association, an organization the AHA has registered. It teaches curriculum carrying the AHA brand and issues AHA certification cards recognized nationwide. AHA standards are met here on record-keeping, skills verification, instructor quality, and curriculum fidelity.
Should an employer require "AHA certification," what we issue meets that requirement on its own. Our cards are neither equivalents nor alternatives. They are the real thing.
