CPR Works of Wilmington has been paying close attention to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and we will continue to do so in order to make informed decisions about what’s best for our students, instructors, and business partners.
Many people are hesitant to spend unnecessary time in public places and in group settings. Healthcare workers, teachers, first responders and others who are on the front lines, fighting this virus, still need their CPR certifications in order to work.
We want you to know that we are dedicated to adhering to the strictest of decontamination policies. We are following all of the recommended AHA decontamination policies and going above and beyond by meticulously sanitizing manikins, masks, valves, tables, chairs, doorknobs, etc. We have gloves in our classroom that any student can use during the hands-on skills.
If you feel more comfortable completing your certification in a non-group setting to minimize contact with other students we have increased our “Blended Training” options! This means that you can complete your AHA certification by taking the class online in your own home, then swing by our office for a one-on-one skills check with our experienced instructor. Equipment is decontaminated between each student and gloves will be available.
We even have “drop in” skills check sessions several days per week, which allow you the opportunity of coming to our location during a window of time at your convenience.
CPR Works will continue to be the premiere AHA Training Center in the Carolinas throughout this situation. Please let us know if you have any specific questions or concerns:
